Back in the Lot

We are Rita and Peter Kerkhoff. In 1994 we sold our house in The Netherlands, we quit our jobs and moved to France with our three children to start a new life in this beautiful country.

We started in Milhac in the Lot with our holiday accommodation “Les Maurelles”. That is where our youngest daughter was born. For a period of 13 years, we enjoyed hosting guests there.

Another move took us to Gruissan-Plage on the Mediterranean coast. There we rented out our apartments to people from all over Europe.

In 2013 we moved to Montvalen in the Tarn. Peter built a mobile home, gypsy wagon style, so that we were able to have guests around us there as well. Meanwhile our family had grown with French in-laws and grandchildren.

And now we are back in the region where we once started in Saint-Cirq-Madelon, three kilometers from Milhac. We do not only feel at home in this region, we are at home. It is that feeling that we would like to pass on to our guests. You are very welcome.
